Intermittent Fasting

Against the advice of my bodybuilding friends and a failed experiment with Intermittent Fasting (IF) in 2012, I am going to give it another try. I feel like I have let my fitness levels decline severely for the last year and just like everyone else on the planet I am looking for the quickest fix. Funny thing is I have often told females looking to lean out to follow IF and have witnessed their tremendous results using IF protocols like Sara Solomon - Fitness Page.

My previous try was less than successful, and I feel the reason was that I used the 16hr and 20hr fasts when I should have done alternate day. I researched my lack of progress and think that the less insulin spikes I have throughout the week, the leaner I will be. So today I am prepping and 30 Oct I start. I will track my workouts, supplements, diet, measurements and fasting. I will post my starting stats and pics (tonight or tomorrow) and weekly results to FB.

As you can see my bodyfat %  begins to increase after July 2014.

The bodyfat % is going up and up. By the end of September this is how bad it is. These are also my before pics for IF
